Bamboo tableware and plastic plates completely safe!

The last few days, a message from the NVWA has been circulating about bamboo tableware and melamine. There are rightly many questions about the bamboo tableware from Mies to Go and the personalized plastic plates. We can reassure you: both tableware is completely safe and can simply be ordered and used!

We can be brief about the personalized plastic plates: they do not contain melamine or bamboo. No BPA either, by the way. They are made of polymer and can simply be put in the dishwasher. You can also eat hot food from them without any problems. They just cannot be put in the microwave.

The bamboo tableware is made in collaboration with Zuperzozial. They have been a pioneer in the field of sustainable alternatives to plastic for years. Their products are developed with care and meet all EU standards. All productions are checked and certified and safety always comes first. The Mies to Go bamboo tableware (also without BPA!) can simply be used. It is dishwasher safe and you can eat hot food from it. This tableware is also not microwave safe.

The reason the NVWA advises against using bamboo tableware is because there are many fraudulent products on the market that contain a much higher melamine content and lack the necessary quality marks and certifications.
